Woman who threw hand gun into River Foyle pleads guilty

A woman from Londonderry who threw a hand gun into the River Foyle in January last year has pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.

Caoimhe Villa, 22, from Earhart Park in the city, made her plea at Londonderry Crown Court.

Judge Philip Babington is due to sentence Ms Villa on 9 April.

She has been released on continuing bail.
