Woman hit by car at flag protest in Derry

A woman has been injured after she was hit by a car at a flag protest in Londonderry.

She was taking part in a white line protest on the Glendermott Road when she was struck at 18:50 GMT on Friday.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

It was one of a number of white line protests held on Friday evening.
