Londonderry man fined for resisting police

A 32-year-old man has admitted disorderly behaviour and resisting police, at Londonderry Magistrates Court.

Declan Mullan, of Foyle Park, committed the offence on 11 August last year.

The was told that the incident happened while a large crowd had been throwing petrol bombs at police at Nailor's Row.

Mullan was seen walking along the grass verge nearby and became abusive when police advised him to go home. He was fined £350.
