Derryman released on bail after facing terror charges

A 53-year-old Londonderry man has appeared in court on terrorism charges.

Gerard Francis O'Donnell, from Strangford Park, is charged with making recordings and digital photographs likely to be of use to terrorists.

He is also charged and with possessing the same recordings and digital photographs. Mr O'Donnell is alleged to have committed the offences between March 2008 and June 2010.

He was released on bail. A date for his non-jury trial has yet to be fixed.
