A 23-year-old man has died in hospital almost a week after he was involved in a car crash in Enniskillen.

The PSNI have said the car had failed to stop for police shortly before it hit a roundabout.

Five people were taken to hospital after the accident at the Johnston Bridge roundabout just before 02:00 BST on Saturday 23 August.

A sixth person, an 18-year-old man, was arrested but has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Inspector Rod Flood said: "Police in Enniskillen are continuing to appeal for witnesses to this incident.

"We would also appeal to anyone who was travelling on the Cornagrade Road around the time of the incident to contact police on the non-emergency number 101."
