Stephen Nolan has paid tribute to Gerry Anderson saying he was "the best, finest broadcaster BBC Northern Ireland will ever have".

Gerry Anderson, one of Northern Ireland's best-known presenters, died aged 69, following a long illness.

His radio show followed The Stephen Nolan show, which often led to friendly on-air rivalry between the two.
