Girl critically injured in Slaughterford Road, Whitehead, crash

A 17-year-old girl has been critically injured in a crash in County Antrim.

Two cars collided on the Slaughterford Road in Whitehead shortly before 21:00 BST on Monday night.

The teenager was a passenger in one of the cars. A 39-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were taken to hospital for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

The Slaughterford Road has now been reopened. Police have appealed for witnesses.
