Police are investigating a report of a shot being fired in Antrim early on Saturday morning.

No one was injured and there have been no reports of any damage to property during the incident at Devon Square in the Rathenraw estate, at 01:15 BST.

It is believed the shot was fired after a small internment bonfire was lit.

The police carried out a search operation in the area on Saturday. Detectives have appealed for information.

Officers can be contacted on the non-emergency number 101.
