Pipe bomb thrown at parked car in north Belfast

A number of premises were evacuated in north Belfast after a pipe bomb was thrown at a car.

The bomb was thrown at a vehicle parked outside the offices of Groundwork Northern Ireland at Duncairn Gardens.

There was no-one inside the car and the bomb did not explode. A number of people were moved from their homes.

A 27-year-old man who was arrested has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
