Man dies after being hit by car in Tamlaght, County Fermanagh

A man has died after being hit by a car in County Fermanagh.

It happened on the Belfast Road in Tamlaght at about 23:50 BST on Friday. The man who died was 48-year-old Gordon Deery who was from Tamlaght.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and is currently in custody.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnesses the incident to contact them. The road has now been reopened.
