23 May 2014 Last updated at 16:25 BST

The former chairman of NI21, Tina McKenzie, who resigned from the party executive last night, has said she feels "let down" by what has happened.

The party has been in turmoil since allegations were made against party leader Basil McCrea.

Ms McKenzie, who is also NI21's European candidate, has also said it would be difficult for Basil McCrea and John McCallister to remain in their positions as leader and deputy leader of the party.

She spoke to the BBC at Belfast City Hall as counts in the local council elections are taking place.
