Lisburn woman dies in hospital from burns injuries

Police have said they are still trying to establish what happened at the house in Lisburn, County Antrim

A 49-year old woman, who suffered serious burn injuries following what police described as an incident at a house in Lisburn, has died.

Police were called to the house on the Glenavy Road on Tuesday morning. She was admitted to hospital for treatment for her injuries.

A 48-year-old man was also taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police say they are working on establishing exactly what happened.
