Man in his 30s stabbed in stomach in south Belfast

A man in his 30s has been stabbed in the stomach during an altercation with another man in south Belfast.

Police said it happened somewhere in the area of Donegall Road, Donegall Avenue and Tates Avenue between 17:45 BST and 18:15 BST on Thursday.

The man has been taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to contact them.
