A loyalist jailed for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl has gone on trial accused of breaching a court order just three weeks after he left prison.

Mark Harbinson, 45, from Sheepwalk Road, Lisburn, was jailed for three and a half years in May 2011.

He was freed a year ago, but it is alleged that he broke a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).

The breach concerns his alleged involvement with a band, contrary to the order. Harbinson denies the charge.

The trial continues.
