Man in court over £130,000 Belfast drugs haul

A 60-year-old man has been arrested following the discovery of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £130,000.

The man is facing several charges including conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug and dishonestly obtaining electricity.

Police discovered the cannabis plants when they raided a house in Mount Coole Park in north Belfast on Sunday.

The man is due in Belfast Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
