Coleraine knife attack: Woman arrested over stabbing

A woman has been arrested by police investigating a stabbing in County Londonderry.

The 42-year-old man was attacked overnight in Strand Road, Coleraine. The incident was reported to police at about 00:05 BST on Sunday.

He sustained stab wounds to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The woman, who is 26, is helping police with their inquiries.
