Two killed in Dromore and Portadown crashes

Two men have died in separate road crashes in Northern Ireland.

A man was killed when his car was in collision with another car on Banbridge Road, Dromore, County Down. It happened at about 18:00 BST on Sunday.

A 42-year-old man arrested at the scene has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

In County Armagh, a man in his 40s died when he was struck by a car after getting out of a taxi on the Gilford Road outside Portadown on Sunday.

It happened shortly before 02:00 BST.

Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed either crash to contact them.
