Newtownabbey hijackers drag woman from vehicle

A woman has been dragged from her car during a hijacking in Newtownabbey, County Antrim.

It happened just before 22:00 BST on Sunday. Two men approached the woman as she was in the parked car in Innis Walk.

One of them opened the driver's door and dragged the woman out of the vehicle, which was found burnt out at Camcross Park a short time later.

The woman was not hurt but was left badly shaken.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
