Craigavon: Two released after 'gun' seized in terror investigation

Drumbeg Officers have recovered what appears to be a weapon and paramilitary clothing during a search of two separate properties the Drumbeg area of Craigavon

Two people arrested by police investigating dissident republican terrorism in Craigavon, County Armagh, have been released from custody.

A 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on Friday after police seized what they believe to be a gun and paramilitary clothing.

The pair were released unconditionally.

Officers recovered the suspected weapon during a search of premises in the Drumbeg area. The clothing was found in a second property in the same area.
