Man killed in Limavady collision

A man has been killed in a collision between a car and a lorry in County Londonderry.

The crash happened on the Broad Road, between Limavady and Coleraine, shortly before 14:20 GMT on Tuesday.

The victim was the driver of the car. A male passenger, who was also in the car, was taken to hospital where he is described as stable.

The Broad Road remains closed and diversions are in place at the Cashel Road and the Dunhill Road junction.

Diversions are also in place at the Killane Roundabout and motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
