West Belfast shooting: Man injured in alley attack

A man has been injured in a gun attack in west Belfast.

The 27-year-old was shot in the thigh at about 19:35 GMT on Monday.

The incident happened at an alleyway between Ross Road and Balkan Street. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The police said a man was seen running towards Balkan Street following the incident.
