Man shot in both knees and ankles in west Belfast

A man in his 30s has been shot in both knees and ankles in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

He was attacked by two men who forced their way into a house at Corrib Avenue at about 18:50 GMT on Friday.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, a police spokesman said.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
