Scott Vineer attack: Two questioned over attempted murder

Two men have been arrested over the attempted murder of a teenager who was critically injured in an assault in Lisburn, County Antrim, 16 months ago.

Scott Veneer, who is austistic, was repeatedly kicked in the head during the attack in September 2012. He was 17 at the time.

Police officers found him lying unconscious close to the Lagan towpath.

The arrested men, aged 23 and 25, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
