Francis Dinsmore Ltd wins deal with Barbour

A 200-year-old textile company based in County Antrim has struck a lucrative deal with global clothing brand Barbour which is likely to create 16 new jobs.

Francis Dinsmore Ltd, based in Kells, has won an order to supply wax-coated fabric following a £1m expansion.

The new jobs will bring total employment at the company to 54.

The facility will also help the company increase its export sales across Europe and the US.

The project was part-supported by capital from Invest NI.
