A man has been appeared in court charged with attempting to murder four people in County Antrim.

The charges relate to an incident on Monday at Ballyduff Gardens in Newtownabbey when several people were treated in hospital for stab wounds.

Craig Binnie, of Tynan Drive in the town, was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm to another man.

The 41-year-old accused, originally from Scotland, was remanded in custody at Belfast Magistrates Court.
