Man arrested over Cornmarket, Belfast, fire bomb released

A 50-year-old man arrested by police investigating a fire bomb attack in Belfast city centre on Monday evening has been released without charge.

The attempted attack happened at about 18:40 GMT at the Golf Madness store in Cornmarket.

A man burst into flames in the shop. He ran off with his clothes on fire through shoppers in the area.

The 50-year-old man who was being questioned was arrested in west Belfast on Friday.
