Bob Stewart MP: Call to end to Troubles prosecutions 'appalling'

Conservative MP Colonel Bob Stewart has said he is ''appalled'' at a proposal by Northern Ireland's attorney general to bring an end to prosecutions for Troubles-related killings.
John Larkin said there should be no further police investigations, inquests or inquiries into any relevant killings that took place before the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998. That means all deaths caused by paramilitaries, police or the Army.
Colonel Bob Stewart, a former British Army officer, urged the attorney general to drop the proposal, saying ''it's not justice''.
