Escaped monkey shot with stun gun in Newtownabbey

A monkey that escaped from a zoo in north Belfast has been captured from a tree in Newtownabbey.

Six lion-tailed macaques escaped from the zoo on Monday, one now still remains at large.

A hydraulic lift was brought in to lift a zoo marksman to fire a tranquillizer while zoo staff waited on the ground.
