Petrol bomb thrown at house in Ballykeel, Ballymena

There has been a petrol bomb attack at a house in Ballymena.

The attack happened at Orkney Drive in the Ballykeel estate at about 04:00 BST on Saturday.

The device was thrown at the front window, but bounced off and ignited on the ground in front of the house.

Firefighters and the police went to the house and several items were removed for further examination. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
