Teenager targeted in Bangor sex assault

A teenager has been sexually assaulted in Bangor, County Down.
The 19-year-old was attacked at Quay Street on Saturday night, 21 September.
Police are looking for a man in his early 20s. He is described as having short hair, facial stubble and wearing a grey and purple t-shirt.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious close to the McKee Clock in Bangor from about 23:30 BST on Saturday.
The town's mayor, Andrew Muir, said: "This was a despicable attack right in the heart of Bangor, which will be guaranteed to send shock waves through the local community.
"My thoughts are with the victim at this difficult time. I would urge anyone with information about this sexual assault to contact the police as soon as possible," the Alliance councillor added.
