Belfast stabbing: Man charged with attempted murder

A 20-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed repeatedly in north Belfast.

Police were called to a house on Glenrosa Link on Tuesday morning, after a report that the 26-year-old woman had sustained multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital, where she was said to be in a stable condition.

The man has also been charged with aggravated burglary and is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court later on Wednesday.
