Pipe bomb found in Rasharkin alert

What is believed to be a pipe bomb has been found in Rasharkin, County Antrim.

Police said it was found in the Rosetta Terrace/Carnfinton Park area after a proactive operation. It has now been removed by the Army and the alert is over.

Another security alert in south Belfast ended on Saturday morning. The Manse Road between Rocky Road and Garland Hill in the Four Winds area was closed to traffic after police uncovered a significant haul of weapons on Friday night.
