US firm Concentrix to create 100 jobs in Northern Ireland

The US technology firm Concentrix has announced it is creating 100 permanent jobs in Northern Ireland.

It said it was seeking to recruit the staff over the next four weeks, with an additional 150 temporary positions "within the next few months".

Concentrix said the new recruits would be required to handle "customer service, inbound sales and chat services".

The firm bought over the locally-owned call centre Gem in 2011.

Concentrix recruitment manager, Marcella McKeever, said the standard of service provided in Belfast had enabled it "to attract global brands and the opportunity to offer permanent and temporary positions at a local level".
