'Viable device' found in Newtownabbey security alert

A 'viable device' has been found after a security alert in County Antrim on Monday morning.

Army bomb officers carried out a controlled explosion after being called to the scene at Cherrylands in the Cloughfern area of Newtownabbey.

Residents have been allowed to return to their homes after being evacuated, and roads in the area have been reopened.
