Cattle rescued after slurry tank fall in Larne

Four cattle have been rescued after falling into a slurry tank at a farm in County Antrim.

The tank at Ballysnod Road in Larne was drained before Fire and Rescue Service personnel wearing breathing apparatus attached rescue harnesses to the animals.

Four appliances, three specialist rescue teams and an animal rescue team were involved in the operation.

A vet was also at the scene.
