Ballycastle killing: Man charged with murdering Kevin O'Neill

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Kevin O'Neill in Ballycastle, County Antrim, at the weekend.

Mr O'Neill, who was 25, died after he was stabbed at a house in Stroanshesk Park on Sunday afternoon.

Appearing in court on Tuesday was Nigel McGothigan, whose address was given as Broombeg, Ballycastle.

The accused was remanded in custody and is to appear in court again via videolink on 20 May.
