Families still stranded by deep snow

Some families in remote areas of Northern Ireland are still stranded in their own homes, cut off by large snowdrifts.

A military helicopter that will be used to get food to snowbound animals in Northern Ireland has landed at Aldergrove airport.

One woman, Patricia Ward from Dundrod in County Antrim, contacted BBC Newsline looking for help.

Ireland correspondent Mark Simpson went to try to find her.
