Tyrone farmer accused of making threats to kill

A farmer from County Tyrone has appeared in court in Omagh accused of making threats to kill.

Leslie Beggs, 45, from Tullyrush Road near Seskinore faces one charge of threatening to kill Paul Stewart on 6 February 2013.

It is understood the incident is linked to the construction of the new A5 dual carriageway.

Mr Beggs spoke only once to say that he understood the charge and was freed on continuing bail.

The case was adjourned for five weeks.
