Bangor killing: woman charged with conspiring to pervert justice

A 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the killing of a man in Bangor, County Down, last weekend.

Stephen Davidson, 31, who lived alone, was found dead at his house in Ballyholme Road on Sunday evening.

The woman is charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice, assisting offenders and having a Class A drug with intent to supply.

Two men, aged 49 and 40 and a 61-year-old woman remain in custody in connection with the death.

Police said Mr Davidson died as a result of a violent struggle.

The 30-year-old woman is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
