The next moderator of the Presbyterian Church has been named as the Rev Rob Craig, minister of Kilfennan Presbyterian Church, Londonderry.
Dr Craig was nominated by 17 out of the 19 presbyteries.
He will take up office on the 3 June in succession to Dr Roy Patton who continues as moderator until that time.
Commenting on his election Dr Craig said he was "deeply humbled and honoured to be elected moderator".
Rev John Dickinson, minister of the Carnmoney congregation received the remaining two nominations.
Dr Craig will chair the 2013 General Assembly when it meets in his home city of Londonderry.
Two years ago the General Assembly took the decision to meet there to mark Derry's year as UK City of Culture.
It is the first time in 22 years that the Assembly has met out of Belfast and it was 1933 when it last met in the city.
