Armed men injure 31-year-old during Belfast burglary

Armed men have attacked and injured a 31-year-old man during a burglary at his home in north Belfast.
Two men, armed with a gun and knife, entered a flat on the Whitewell Road at about 12:30 GMT on Monday.
They threatened the householder and a 27-year-old woman who was with him in the flat. They put a towel over her head and stole money from her purse.
The man sustained a head injury when he was hit with the knife. His injury is not thought to be life threatening.
The woman was not hurt but was left shaken by her ordeal.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the burglary to contact them.
