Two men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a teenager who was attacked twice in Omagh, County Tyrone.

Jason McGovern, 19, of Tydavnet, in County Monaghan, died after being attacked on New Year's Eve. He was found dead at a friend's house.

Two men, aged 18 and 21, were arrested in Omagh on Tuesday by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.

Five people have been charged with affray in connection with the death.
