Man due in court over £1m cannabis find in Lisburn

A 49-year-old man has been charged with drugs offences following the seizure of of £1m worth cannabis resin in County Antrim.

The drugs were discovered when police stopped a vehicle at Hillsborough Road roundabout in Lisburn on Wednesday.

The man is charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of the drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday.
