Belfast flag row - political moves to resolve issue

Help

The DUP leader Peter Robinson and the Ulster Unionist leader Mike Nesbitt held talks on Monday afternoon on the working of a Unionist Forum - their attempt to solve the ongoing flag protests.

Details of the timing and format for the first meeting and the make up of the forum have still not been made public.

The Alliance party, the SDLP and Sinn Fein have already warned that unionists cannot solve the flag issue on their own.

BBC Newsline's political reporter Stephen Walker looks at efforts to resolve the ongoing dispute.
