A second man has been arrested by police investigating an incident in Londonderry.

Army bomb disposal experts have been been dealing with an incident in Hawkin Street in the city.

Houses in the area were evacuated ear lier, but residents have now been allowed back into their homes.

The man, who is 35, was detained in the Queen's Court area. He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A man in his 20s remains in custody.
