Woman charged in Belfast dissident operation

A 21-year-old woman has been charged by police investigating dissident republican activity.

She was charged with attempting to possess criminal property and perverting the course of justice.

The woman was arrested by detectives from the PSNI's serious crime branch in the Whiterock area of west Belfast on Tuesday.

She is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on 10 January.

The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
