Man charged over Ballygowan cannabis factory

A 43-year-old man has been charged after police uncovered a cannabis factory in Ballygowan in County Down.

Police discovered a large number of cannabis plants with an estimated value of around £100,000 as part of a planned search.

The man has been charged with cultivation and possession of cannabis.

He will appear at North Down Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning.
