Forkhill credit union robbed by armed men

Two men - one armed with a hatchet, the other a handgun - have robbed a credit union in Forkhill, south Armagh.

At about 19:00 GMT the pair, both with scarfs over their mouths, walked into the premises at Main Street and demanded money.

They escaped with cash and are believed to have driven away in a blue Toyota Avensis.

It is the second such incident at the premises in the space of two weeks.

On Friday 23 November, three men, one armed with a handgun and another with a hatchet robbed the credit union.
