Name of Armagh accident victim released

Police have released the name of a pedestrian killed in a road accident in County Armagh on Friday.

The victim was 18-year-old Andrew Higgins. He was hit by a car on the Monaghan Road, near Armagh, shortly after 16:00 GMT on Friday.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them

They believe the driver of a red flatbed lorry which turned right into a junction off the Monaghan Road at the time, may have information.
