County Londonderry crash victims were Colin and Hannah Doherty

Road traffic collision in County Londonderry Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them

The father and daughter who died in a road accident in County Londonderry on Thursday night were Colin Doherty and his 15-year-old daughter Hannah.

They were in a car which was involved in a collision with a cattle lorry between Magherafelt and Moneymore.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision has now begun.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
